At a Glance

  • 1-year Limited Warranty on the LunchEAZE base unit and included battery for manufacturing defects, starting on the date of delivery.
  • Battery coverage can be extended to 2 years total through an Additional Year purchase or promotional event.
  • Accessories (lids, meal containers, insulated bags, chargers, etc.) are covered for 1 year for manufacturing defects.
  • Damage from misuse, accident, modification, or use of non-LunchEAZE accessories is not covered — but does not, by itself, void the rest of your warranty.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
  • Provided by ReliantEMS Corp, 47366 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538.

This is a LIMITED WARRANTY as that term is used in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312).

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty is extended to the original purchaser of a new LunchEAZE product purchased directly from LunchEAZE.com or from an authorized seller. It is non-transferable. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required to make a claim.

What Is Covered

For the warranty period stated below, ReliantEMS Corp ("we," "us," "LunchEAZE") warrants that the covered LunchEAZE product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, in accordance with the included instructions and our Safe Use information in our Terms of Service §9.

Warranty Period

ComponentCoverage periodStarts
LunchEAZE base unit1 yearDate of delivery to the original purchaser
Included battery1 year (standard); up to 2 years total with an Additional Year purchase or promotional extensionDate of delivery
Accessories (lids, meal containers, insulated bags, chargers, car inverters, bottles, tumblers, ice packs, utensil sets, etc.)1 year maximumDate of delivery

Replacement or repaired components are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of repair/replacement, whichever is longer.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover, and we are not responsible for, any of the following. Use of the product in any of these ways does not, by itself, void your Limited Warranty coverage for unrelated manufacturing defects — but the specific damage that results is not covered:

  1. Accidental damage of any kind — including drops, impacts, crushing, punctures, fire, water exposure beyond the product's described splash resistance, exposure to extreme temperatures, vibration, or other accidents.
  2. Misuse — including using the product for any purpose other than heating food intended for human consumption at the temperatures and durations described in our materials.
  3. Failure to follow instructions — including the user manual, charging instructions, safety warnings, or our Safe Use guidance in our Terms of Service §9.
  4. Damage from chargers, batteries, or accessories not supplied or certified by us. Using a non-LunchEAZE charger, battery, or accessory does not, by itself, void your warranty for unrelated defects — but any damage that results from using such an item is not covered.
  5. Damage from disassembly, modification, opening, or unauthorized service. Opening, disassembling, modifying, or having the product serviced by anyone other than ReliantEMS Corp or a service partner we have authorized does not, by itself, void your warranty for unrelated defects — but any damage that results from those actions is not covered.
  6. Normal wear and battery capacity degradation. Lithium-ion batteries lose capacity gradually over their useful life; some reduction in run time over months and years of normal use is expected and is not a manufacturing defect. Cosmetic wear that does not affect function is similarly not covered.
  7. Cosmetic damage — scratches, scuffs, dents, discoloration, or fading — that does not affect functional operation.
  8. Loss, theft, seizure, or misplacement of the product or any of its components.
  9. Foodborne illness, food spoilage, or food contamination of any kind. LunchEAZE is a heating device, not a refrigerator or sterilizer. You are responsible for following safe food handling practices, including refrigerating perishable food before placing it in LunchEAZE and observing recommended food safety temperatures.
  10. Damage to property or personal injury arising from use of the product. See our Terms of Service for the allocation of risk on personal injury and property damage.
  11. Software- or platform-related issues outside our control — including the LunchEAZE mobile app's performance on your specific phone or tablet, operating system updates, or device compatibility issues. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app on any particular device.
  12. Damage caused during shipping by the carrier — these claims are handled by the carrier per our Returns & Shipping page, not the warranty.
  13. Use in any commercial, industrial, food-service, healthcare, transportation, military, public-safety, or other non-personal context without our express prior written authorization.

The exclusions above are reasonable given the price of the product and the fact that proper, safe use is within your control.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your LunchEAZE product has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty:

  1. Contact us at Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com within the applicable warranty period. Include your order number, the date of delivery, a description of the problem, and your contact information.
  2. Provide photographic or video evidence that clearly shows the entire product and the affected area. Cropped, zoomed-in, or partial images alone may be rejected because they do not allow us to verify the condition of the product.
  3. Do not discard damaged components until instructed by a LunchEAZE Support representative.
  4. Wait for a Return Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back. We will respond as quickly as we can to determine whether the issue is covered.
  5. If we issue an RMA, ship the unit to us at:

ReliantEMS Corp 47366 Fremont Blvd Fremont, CA 94538

Shipping costs. The original purchaser is responsible for shipping the unit to us for warranty service. We will pay for the return shipping of a repaired or replacement unit back to you, unless otherwise arranged.

Inspection and decision. Upon receipt, we will inspect the unit and determine whether the issue is covered by this Limited Warranty. If we determine the issue is not covered (for example, because the damage was caused by misuse, accident, or another excluded cause), we will contact you with options including out-of-warranty repair (see below) or return of the unit at your expense.

Our Remedy

If we determine that a covered defect exists, we will, at our sole option:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts of equivalent function, or
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same or equivalent model, or
  • Refund the original purchase price, when neither repair nor replacement is reasonably practical.

This is your sole and exclusive remedy for a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.

Replacements may be new or refurbished at our discretion. Replacement parts and refurbished replacement products meet the same functional specifications as new products and are tested before being shipped.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If your LunchEAZE product is not covered by this warranty — because it is outside the warranty period or because the damage is excluded — we may still be able to repair it for a fee.

Repair fees start at US $30 and may increase based on the parts and labor required. We will provide a written estimate before performing any out-of-warranty service. Out-of-warranty repair fees include parts, labor, and return shipping to you.

You are responsible for shipping the unit to us for any out-of-warranty repair. If you decline the repair after receiving an estimate, you may pay return shipping to have the unit shipped back unrepaired, or instruct us to recycle it.

Implied Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the duration of any implied warranties — including any implied warranty of merchantability and any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose — is limited to the duration of this express Limited Warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

California residents: Nothing in this warranty is intended to disclaim any implied warranty that, under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1790–1795.8), may not be disclaimed. You retain all rights granted to you by that Act.

Limitation of Liability Under This Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will ReliantEMS, its affiliates, or any of their directors, officers, employees, or agents be liable to you for any incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or damages for loss of use) arising from or relating to a defect in a LunchEAZE product or this Limited Warranty, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

For the broader allocation of risk between you and us — including for personal injury, property damage, and assumption of risk for the safe use of a heated, electric, lithium-ion-powered product — see our Terms of Service, particularly Sections 9 (Safe Use, Warnings, and Assumption of Risk), 14 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability), and 15 (Indemnification).

Identity of Warrantor

This Limited Warranty is provided by:

ReliantEMS Corp Attn: Warranty Service 47366 Fremont Blvd Fremont, CA 94538 Support: Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com

ReliantEMS Corp is a California corporation. LunchEAZE is a product line of ReliantEMS Corp.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Limited Warranty from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the Last Updated date at the top;
  • Post the revised policy on this page; and
  • For material changes that affect your rights, we will notify you by a prominent notice on the Site at least 30 days before the change takes effect, where feasible.

The version of this Limited Warranty in effect on the date you placed your order will govern that order. Future changes do not retroactively reduce protections you had when you bought your product.

Your Other Legal Rights

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

In particular:

  • California residents have rights under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1790–1795.8). Nothing in this policy disclaims any right that, under that Act, may not be disclaimed.
  • Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312) applies to this Limited Warranty.
  • Implied warranties under your state's version of the Uniform Commercial Code apply to your purchase to the extent provided by law and are not disclaimed beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

At a Glance

  • 30-day money-back return window for direct purchases from LunchEAZE.com.
  • Holiday extension: orders placed between November 1 and December 25 may be returned through January 31 of the following year.
  • Unopened, in original sealed packaging: full product-price refund (original shipping not refunded).
  • Opened but unused, resalable condition: product-price refund less a US $15 restocking fee per unit (because we cannot restock the included meal containers for health and safety reasons).
  • You pay return shipping; we recommend a trackable method.
  • Lost or damaged-in-transit packages are handled through a carrier claim (UPS/USPS/FedEx/DHL) first; we replace the order once the claim is approved.
  • Wrong-address errors are the customer's responsibility. Please verify shipping details before submitting.

Return Policy

This Return Policy applies only to products purchased directly from LunchEAZE.com. Products purchased from an authorized reseller are subject to that reseller's return policy.

30-Day Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the date of delivery of your order.

Holiday Extension

For orders placed between November 1 and December 25 of any year, the return window is extended to January 31 of the following year. All other return conditions remain the same.

Refund Amount

The refund you receive depends on the condition of the returned product:

  • Unopened, in original sealed packaging: Full refund of the product price. Original shipping costs paid by you are not refunded.
  • Opened but unused, in good resalable condition: Refund of the product price less a US $15 restocking fee per unit. This fee is because we cannot restock the included meal containers once they have left our facility, for health and safety reasons. The restocking fee applies even if the meal containers still have their plastic covers in place.
  • Damaged, missing components, used in a way that prevents resale, or returned outside the return window: Returns may be denied, or a higher restocking fee may apply at our discretion. Damaged or non-functional products may be evaluated under the Limited Product Warranty instead, where applicable.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.

How to Return

  1. Contact us at Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com within 30 days of delivery (or by January 31 for holiday orders) to request a return authorization.
  2. Once approved, ship the unit within 10 days of return approval at your own expense to:

ReliantEMS Corp 47366 Fremont Blvd Fremont, CA 94538

  3. The product must be returned with all parts and accessories originally included with the purchase.
  4. Shipping delays beyond your reasonable control will not, by themselves, invalidate the return.

You are responsible for the cost of shipping the return, including packaging and tracking. We recommend using a trackable shipping method; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Shipping & Delivery

We make every effort to deliver products safely and on time, but we use third-party carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, and similar) and have limited control over what happens after a package leaves our facility.

Carrier-Caused Issues

LunchEAZE is not responsible for the actions of the shipping carrier, including delaying, losing, or damaging a package. Lost packages, missed deliveries, and damages caused by the shipping company must be addressed with the carrier directly.

To file a carrier claim:

  1. Contact the carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) directly and open a claim.
  2. Once the carrier issues an approved claim or determination, forward the documentation to us at Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com.
  3. Upon receiving an approved carrier claim, we will gladly send a replacement order at no charge.

If your product arrives damaged due to a manufacturing defect (rather than shipping damage), please file a claim under the Limited Product Warranty instead — we will not require a carrier claim for issues that originated at our facility.

Address Errors

Orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses are the responsibility of the customer. Please verify shipping details carefully before submitting your order. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address you provided, you are responsible for any additional shipping cost to re-send it.

International Orders

For orders shipping outside the United States, import taxes, duties, and VATs are not eligible for compensation under our return or warranty policies. International customers are responsible for clearing customs and paying any applicable import fees. We do not refund duties, taxes, or international return shipping costs.

We may use third-party fulfillment centers in your region for orders shipped outside the United States. Your order information may be shared with those centers solely for fulfillment, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Returns & Shipping Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the Last Updated date at the top;
  • Post the revised policy on this page; and
  • For material changes that affect your rights, notify you by a prominent notice on the Site at least 30 days before the change takes effect, where feasible.

LunchEAZE KidCare Insurance Plan

Effective Date: May 14, 2026 Last Updated: May 14, 2026

The LunchEAZE KidCare Insurance Plan ("KidCare") is an optional protection plan offered by ReliantEMS Corp for LunchEAZE Junior units. It covers certain types of accidental damage from everyday use that the standard Limited Product Warranty does not cover.

KidCare is not a manufacturer's warranty. It is a protection plan you may purchase that supplements — and does not replace or extend — the free, standard Limited Product Warranty that comes with every LunchEAZE.

If you did not purchase a KidCare Insurance Plan with your LunchEAZE Junior, this page does not apply to you, and your coverage is governed by the Limited Product Warranty alone.

If you have questions, contact us at Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com.

At a Glance

  • Optional protection plan for the LunchEAZE Junior base unit and internal battery.
  • Covers accidental damage from everyday use — drops, falls, impacts, spills, and similar — that the standard warranty does not cover.
  • Separate from and in addition to the free 1-year Limited Product Warranty — does not replace or extend it.
  • Coverage begins on delivery of the LunchEAZE Junior unit and lasts for the policy term you selected at purchase. Annually renewable at our discretion.
  • Same claim process as warranty service: contact Support, send photo/video evidence, ship with RMA.
  • Provided by ReliantEMS Corp, 47366 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538.

What KidCare Is (and Is Not)

KidCare is a paid protection plan designed for LunchEAZE Junior units that are likely to experience everyday accidental damage in active households. It is offered as an add-on at purchase or, when available, at renewal.

KidCare is not a manufacturer's warranty. It does not replace, extend, or modify the standard Limited Product Warranty that comes free with every new LunchEAZE product. The Limited Warranty continues to cover manufacturing defects for one year on its own terms.

KidCare exists to fill the gap between the Limited Warranty (which excludes accidental damage) and the realities of how kids use a product. It covers some — but not all — of those accidental events.

Coverage Period

KidCare coverage begins on the date of delivery of the LunchEAZE Junior unit and remains active for the term selected at purchase. The plan may be renewed annually at our discretion. Coverage applies only while the plan remains active and paid in full.

If the plan lapses (for example, if a renewal payment fails and is not cured), coverage ends as of the lapse date, and any damage occurring after that date is not covered, even if the damage is reported later.

What KidCare Covers

While the plan is active, KidCare covers accidental damage to the LunchEAZE Junior base unit and its internal battery resulting from everyday use, including:

  • Drops, falls, and other impact-related breakage
  • Spills, splashes, or other minor liquid contact that causes damage
  • Structural damage caused by ordinary misuse that affects device operation

If your unit is damaged in any of the above ways while KidCare is active, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product with the same or equivalent model.

What KidCare Does NOT Cover

KidCare does not cover, and we are not responsible for, any of the following — and the underlying Limited Product Warranty does not cover these either:

  1. Lost, misplaced, stolen, or confiscated products.
  2. Damage caused intentionally, maliciously, or through gross negligence. Repeatedly throwing the device, intentionally submerging it in water, or other clearly intentional acts are not covered.
  3. Damage due to fire, flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.
  4. Consumable items and accessories — meal containers, lids, chargers, insulated bags, ice packs, utensil sets, and similar — unless a specific promotional offer at the time of your KidCare purchase included them in writing.
  5. Cosmetic scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect functional operation.
  6. Damage caused by chargers, containers, or other accessories not supplied or certified by us. Use of such items does not, by itself, void KidCare coverage for unrelated incidents — but damage that results from using such items is not covered.
  7. Damage that occurred before KidCare became active, including damage existing at the time the plan was purchased.
  8. Property damage or personal injury arising from use of the product. The allocation of risk for those harms is governed by our Terms of Service, particularly Sections 9, 14, and 15.
  9. Software- or platform-related issues outside our control.
  10. Use in any commercial, industrial, healthcare, transportation, military, public-safety, or other non-personal context without our express prior written authorization.

We may decline claims that we determine in good faith were caused intentionally, were excluded under the terms above, or were misrepresented in the claim.

How to Make a KidCare Claim

The claim process is the same as for warranty service:

  1. Contact us at Support@Luncheaze.zendesk.com while the plan is active. Include your order number, the date of the incident, a description of what happened, and your contact information.
  2. Provide photographic or video evidence that clearly shows the entire product and the affected area. Cropped, zoomed-in, or partial images alone may be rejected.
  3. Do not discard damaged components until instructed by a LunchEAZE Support representative.
  4. Wait for a Return Authorization (RMA) before shipping anything back.
  5. If we issue an RMA, ship the unit to us at:

ReliantEMS Corp 47366 Fremont Blvd Fremont, CA 94538

Shipping costs. You are responsible for shipping the unit to us for KidCare service. We will pay for the return shipping of the repaired or replacement unit back to you, unless otherwise arranged.

Inspection and decision. Upon receipt, we will inspect the unit and determine whether the damage is covered. If we determine the damage is not covered, we will contact you with options including out-of-warranty repair at the rates described in the Limited Product Warranty page, or return of the unit at your expense.

Our Remedy Under KidCare

If we determine that a KidCare-covered event occurred, we will, at our sole option:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts of equivalent function, or
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same or equivalent model.

This is your sole and exclusive remedy under KidCare, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law. KidCare does not pay cash compensation in lieu of repair or replacement.

Replacements may be new or refurbished at our discretion. Replacement parts and refurbished replacement products meet the same functional specifications as new products and are tested before being shipped.

KidCare-Specific Terms

  • Plan fees are not refundable except as required by applicable law or as part of an order cancellation made within the standard return window described in Returns & Shipping.
  • KidCare is non-transferable. Coverage applies only to the LunchEAZE Junior unit and original purchaser identified at the time of plan purchase.
  • We may modify the KidCare terms or discontinue offering the plan to new customers at any time. Changes will not retroactively reduce coverage for plans purchased before the change.
  • Availability not guaranteed. Extended warranties and protection plans may not always be an available option, and we may decline to renew at our discretion.
  • Implied warranties for the underlying product are governed by the Limited Product Warranty. KidCare is an add-on service contract and does not by itself create or extend any implied warranty.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this KidCare Insurance Plan policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the Last Updated date at the top;
  • Post the revised policy on this page; and
  • For material changes that affect your rights, notify you by a prominent notice on the Site at least 30 days before the change takes effect, where feasible.

The version of this policy in effect on the date you purchased your KidCare Plan will govern that plan's term. Future changes do not retroactively reduce protections you had when you bought the plan.
